Disappointed with Linux File Manager?

In Linux, everytime you double click a folder, a small window will show up. If you double click again to a folder in this small window, you will see another small window, and so on and so on. And finally, you will see many small windows in cascade. Let's we call it, style one display. Therefore, it's better you right click a folder then choose "Browse Folder". You will see another style of Linux File Manager. Every time you double click a folder, you never see new window. Let's we call it style two display. Actually, you can make, everytime you double click a folder, you was directed to style two display. To do that, follow these steps.

1. Double click a folder (any folder)
2. Choose menu "Edit" than "Preferences"
3. Choose tab "Behavior" than check list option "Always open in browser
windows".
4. Close "File Management Preferences" window with click "Close" button.

From now one, everytime you double click a folder, you will see Nautilus File Manager with style two display. Let's try it! If you have problem, don't hesitate to email me. by.msmunir@batan.go.id
