To create an ISO image file from CD or DVD is very easy. You just need k3b application. To install k3b, just run command line "yum install k3b" with Internet Connection and root account. After k3b installation is complete, you can run it with choose menu Applications -> Sound & Video -> K3b.

To create an ISO image file, follow these steps :
1. Insert CD or DVD disc
2. Run k3b application then click "New Data CD Project" or "New Data DVD Project", depend on your disc type.
3. Click and drag CD or DVD folder under /media to "Current Projects" window.
4. Click Burn and check option "Only create image" then "Start" button
5. Wait until create image file process is complete. Check out where iso image file was placed. Usually file was placed in folder /tmp/kde-user_name/bla_bla_bla.iso. Bla_bla_bla is same with the CD or DVD label.

No help. 99.999% of the time when you want an ISO image, it's of an AUDIO cd. K3b just creates a dir of .wav files.
